Visiting a museum is funny! At the Polderhuis there are many things to discover and a wide variety of activities, such as scavenger hunts in the museum, discovery tours along the sea side, photo puzzle tours around Westkapelle and climbing the lighthouse ’t Hoge Licht.

The dike and war museum provides several scavenger hunts. There is something for everyone: easy and difficult and for young and old. There is a choice between two scavenger hunts in the museum and one at the lighthouse ‘t Hoge Licht:

• Go through the museum for a archeological scavenger hunt with Ada  and Arre. Recommended for families with kids up to 8 years.
• Go for a peace journey with John the Soldier. Recommended for families with kids up to 7 years. Kids as of the age of 8 years can do the tour on their own.
• Scavenger hunt in, around and on the lighthouse ‘t Hoge Licht. Recommended for families with kids up to 7 years. Kids as of the age of 8 years can do the tour on their own. 

The scavenger hunts in the museum and at the lighthouse are free of charge.

Scavenger hunt in and around Westkapelle

There are two scavenger hunts in and around Westkapelle. These scavenger hunts are available at the desk of the Polderhuis museum for a small amount.

• Discover what lives on the border of land and water. Recommended for families with kids up to 7 years. Kids as of the age of 8 years can do the tour on their own.
• Observe Westkapelle in a different way during the photo puzzle tour. Nice tour for the whole family!
