Starting from April 12, 2025, the photo exhibition “Here Comes the Flood” by Rem van den Bosch will be on display on the first floor of the Polderhuis Museum in Westkapelle.

The Water is Coming

In this art project by photographer Rem van den Bosch, the effects of climate change and rising sea levels are made visible in a unique way. He photographed iconic locations across the country. In large-scale images, models stand on red staircases, using their hands to indicate how high the water would rise without dikes and delta works. These confronting images do not depict a future scenario, but the current reality. The exhibition travels through various cities in the Netherlands and Flanders, making the urgency of water safety tangible.
